The Kobelco SK03N2 track roller, commonly referred to as the bottom roller, is a critical undercarriage component specifically engineered for the Kobelco SK03N2 mini excavator. It serves as a core load-bearing structure, responsible for supporting the entire machine weight, guiding track movement with precision, and mitigating impact loads from rugged or uneven terrain, thereby ensuring stable and efficient operation of the equipment.

Designed for long-term durability under harsh working conditions, the roller body is fabricated from high-grade forged or cast alloy steel (e.g., 40Mn2, 50Mn), subjected to quenching and tempering processes to enhance its load-bearing capacity, wear resistance, and impact toughness. The shaft is made of 40Cr or 45# steel with precision grinding treatment, ensuring high rotational smoothness and dimensional accuracy. Equipped with NBR/FKM rubber double floating seals, the component effectively prevents the intrusion of mud, water, and abrasive particles, minimizing the risk of oil leakage in severe operating environments.
Internally, the track roller is fitted with double tapered roller bearings, pre-lubricated and hermetically sealed to achieve maintenance-free operation throughout its service life. With a single-unit weight of approximately 5–7 kg, the component features a lightweight yet high-strength design, capable of withstanding the 2.8–3.2 ton operating weight of the Kobelco SK03N2 excavator. It adheres strictly to the original OEM dimensional standards, enabling direct interchangeability without any structural modifications during replacement.
This track roller is widely applicable in construction, agriculture, landscaping, and small-scale earthmoving operations. It effectively reduces wear on track shoes, extends the service life of the undercarriage assembly, and maintains consistent machine performance. The typical service life is 2000–3000 operating hours, depending on the working conditions. Key failure indicators include oil leakage, abnormal noise during operation, and excessive flange wear, which require timely replacement to avoid further damage to the undercarriage.
Compared to genuine OEM parts, this track roller offers superior cost-effectiveness while maintaining equivalent performance and dimensional compatibility, making it a reliable alternative for equipment maintenance and replacement.
